This was our first attempt to edit and reimagine Van Halen 3 as a tighter record more in keeping with the classic Van Halen spirit. The playlist was released in July 2024. Six months later, the Reimaging YouTube playlist had amassed more than 40,000 collective views.

After releasing the Reimagining playlist, Scott joined forces with Chaz Charles and Greg "Wolfie" Wolfe to launch season three of the "Regarding" podcast series. "Regarding Van Halen 3" continued through April 2025, breaking down the original album one track at a time, while also considering the Reimagined versions of each song. In March 2025, Kevin and Scott released the "Neworld Redux 2.0." It was an attempt to reconsider edits to the songs a final time, based on feedback from fans and from special guests who had appeared on the "Regarding Van Halen 3" podcast.
In producing the Redux 2.0, the album was reimagined more as an Edward Van Halen "side project." The idea was to experiment even more and conceive of the work as a creative project of Ed's, rather than a full-band Van Halen album. Scott prefers a blending of both Reduxes for his ideal version of the album, but you can mix and match yourself!
